John 'The Duke' Wayne is a police lieutenant determined to track down the gang of drug-dealers responsible for the murder of two other officers. An obvious attempt to cash in on the success of another cowboy hero, turned vigilante-cop, this stale effort suffers from a bland script and disappointingly little action. Wayne does his best with what he's giving, but evidently he just wasn't that lucky.
the trilogy moves my soul. i can watch them over and over and over again. Brando starts sexy, Pacino continues sexy, & Garcia erupts sexy. hope there is no continuance. to do so would sully the story.
Muhammed Ali in boxing. Wayne Gretzky in Hockey. Michael Jordan in Basketball. The Godfather in Movies.
All of the above are the undisputed best ever in their fields. This film is the greatest of all time. Without a shadow of a doubt.
