From start to finish this is a teen classic for any generation. Ferris is a mastermind at plotting the perfect plan for skipping a day of school. He covers all the bases despite the efforts of his school principle determined to catch Ferris skipping. From arranging a death in the family so his girlfriend can join him in his day off to his elaborate scheme to convince his parents that he must stay home from school sick. With his best friend and girlfriend, they head to Chicago for a day on the town. Hilarious is the scene when Ferris pretends he is the "Sausage King" of Chicago to get seated in a four star restaurant. Later, Ferris climb a float in a downtown parade for a hysterical rendition of Danke Shoen with German clad dancers to a cover of the Beatles' song Twist and Shout. This movie will have your sides aching and leave lasting memories of unforgettable lines. It's a must see for anyone who has ever ditched school, or for those who wished they had.
So insanely watchable

This isn't the greatest movie in the world, but if it's on HBO and I have nothing else to do, I'm not changing the channel and I'm watching the whole #!@%*# thing. Dreyfuss is great (remember back when he was funny?), and the ensemble is endearing as hell.
